team to your school.
Semper Dental is a unique initiative that provides high quality, on-site, general dental care services providing a twice a year treatment program at your child’s school.
Under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS), funded by the Australian Federal Government, our services are at no cost to the School or the parents of eligible children. If your child is not covered under this scheme, we will provide the service for $99.00, the Medicare value of which is approximately $185.00.

Semper Dental Comprises of a team of accredited and experienced professional with a keen desire to provide the essential dental care to your child.
We will provide comprehensive dental services for your child.
Semper Dental will provide the following services to your child upon receiving written consent from you:
- Dental health education
- Comprehensive oral examinations and treatment plan
- Scale, clean, polish, fissure seal and fluoride
The Child Dental Benefits Scheme (CDBS)
This Scheme is administered by the Department of Human Services under Medicare. The program commenced on 1 January 2014 and provides access to benefits for basic dental services to around 3.4 million children aged 2-17 years.
The total benefit entitlement is capped at just over $1,100 per eligible child over a two-year calendar period. The Scheme is means-tested for which the child’s household must be in receipt of Family Tax Benefit A or a relevant Australian Government payment.

TIME
Our team provides the school dental treatment team for families at your school. This service is completed every 6 months in keeping with the Australian Dental Association Guidelines.
Once we have agreed dates with your school, we will provide you with a consent form for completion and return to us. We will check your Medicare account to ascertain your child’s eligibility.
If your child is not eligible, you have the option to pay $99.00 for the service. If you are paying for the service, you can claim this against your health insurance should you have such an arrangement.
